Tara Reid has finally reached the bottom of her career and addiction. Tara checked herself into “Promises Treatment Center” this past Tuesday, to get clean; we hope.

We know Tara Reid best, from her role in “American Pie”. Yet, Reid has been in almost thirty movies since 1987. It isn’t Tara’s film legacy that comes to mind when we fondly remember this 33 year old actress.

Ms. Reid became one of those faces that began popping up more in the Tabloids, than in the movies; starting in the late 90s. Just recently, “In Touch Weekly” named Tara Reid “Top Party Animal”.

“Taradise” was Reid’s shot at a reality show, launched in Sept. 2005, then cancelled in October, of the same year. “Taradise” was an absolute disaster for “E”. It was hard for production to keep a perspective of the show, because Reid was out of control throughout most of the filming.

More recently, Tara Reid played “Danni Sullivan”, girlfriend to one of the main character’s on “Scrubs”. Tara didn’t have to reach that far, to play Danni; the hard drinking “party girl”.

Ms. Reid obviously wants privacy and discretion observed, during her time spent at a rehabilitation facility. Had Tara wanted the media’s attention drawn to this affair, she would have checked into Dr. Drew’s “Celebrity Rehab” lab, so VH1 could steer this project.
